Grameen Foundation does not collect any information from you without your knowledge and permission, and does not ask for personal information to access most of our website. However, you must enter identifying information to access certain features. The information you provide Grameen Foundation is stored in a secure location.
Information collection and usage
Currently, Grameen Foundation requires personal information on the following pages:
“E-mail to a friend” pages: To forward a page from our site you must enter your name, your e-mail address and the e-mail address(es) of anyone you are sending it to. Grameen Foundation includes your name and e-mail address when we send your message. This information is not used for any other purpose.
E-mail newsletter signup: Information you provide to sign up for the e-mail newsletter will be used only for e-mail communications from Grameen Foundation, and will not be shared with any other entity.
Sending e-cards: Information you provide to send an e-card will be used only for the purpose of delivering the card and e-mailing you a receipt, unless you specify that you would like to sign up for our eNewsletter. Grameen Foundation includes your name and e-mail address when we send your e-card.
Contact page: Contact information you send us via the feedback page is used only to reply to your request, and is not stored in our database, unless you have requested otherwise.
Publication downloads: Contact information you provide may be used to send you infrequent updates which are directly related to the publication you are downloading.
Donation information and secure transactions
Transaction security: When you donate to Grameen Foundation via our website, your donation information is encrypted and transmitted by way of a secure connection. Grameen Foundation uses your credit card information only for the purpose of processing your donation, and it is not disclosed for any other purpose.
Donation page: When you donate to Grameen Foundation, we collect credit card and contact information necessary to verify and complete the transaction, as well as your communication preferences. We will follow those preferences in using your personal contact information to send you future mailings.
